Always have a rescue helicopter standing by when you go snowmobiling. It's one of the ten essentials along with map, compass etc.

Learn crevasse rescue techniques. You can find out how in the "Freedom of the Hills" by the Mountaineers.

These things create avalanches and damage vegetation and ecosystem.......They sound like chain saws and are as destructive. An abyss is a good place for these nasty contraptions.
